Ajnad Al Kavkaz أجناد القوقاز

Ajnad al-Kavkaz  'Soldiers of the Caucasus' is a Chechen-led Jihadi Islamic group active especially in northern Syria, mainly in Latakia province. Was formed by former Caucasus Emirate fighters and had become "the largest of the Muslim group from the former Soviet Union fighting in Syria. Ideology: Salafist Jihadism and Suni Islamic Fundamentalism. Lead by Rustam Azhiev AKA Abdul Hakim Shishani. Was formed in 2015, cut it's links from the Caucasus Emirates in 2016 and still active.

Imom Buxoriy Katibasi AKA Katibat Imam al Bukhari

This Central Asian jihadist group, Katibat Imam Al Bukhari (KIB) was created in Afghanistan on the basis of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan. This group is active especially in Idlib area and consist of Uzbek & Tajik Jihadists, recognized as Islamist Salafi group, was led by Sheikh Salahuddin before he was assassinated in Idlib.

Katibat Al Aqsa led by Magomed Diresov AKA Abu Umar Grozny .

Katibat Al Aqsa consists of  Chechen and Uzbek from the North Caucasus.

The group is named after the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem's Old City. Katibat Al-Aqsa group has been associated with the Islamic State group's of Umar Shishani.

Junud Al-Sham

Junud al-Sham (Soldiers of the Levant) a groups of Jihadist that operating in Syria especially in the Latakia & Aleppo provinces, consist of Chechen and Lebanese Sunni Mujahidin fighters  led by Muslim Abu Walid al Shishani until his death in 2021. Abu Turab Shishani is the group leader since. The group was in fight with the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham brigada , territory fights reasons. Was formed in 2012 and still active.

Malhama Tactical Group

Malhama Tactical is a semi  military contractor operating since the Syrian Civil War. Founded by  Uzbeki jihadist called Abu Rofiq on 2015 in Idlib. In 2017 the group was operating along with Ajnad Al Kavkaz against the Syrian Army & Russian bases. Most of the contractors are from North Caucasus. After the death of Abu Salman (Abu Rofiq), Ali Al-Shishani became the new leader of Malhama Tactical. Not active anymore.
